Approved Holsters, Purses and Fanny Packs
Advanced Concealed Carry Course
Holsters used in the Advanced Concealed Carry Course MUST meet the following requirements:
- Strong side (firing hand side) belt, pancake or paddle holsters that enclose the trigger guard and trigger, OR inside the waist holsters.
- Must be in excellent condition and firmly hold the handgun being used in the course
- Crossdraw, ankle, shoulder, and small of the back holsters are NOT allowed
Examples of allowed holsters purses and fanny packs are shown below. Quality manufacturers include Galco, DeSantis, Safariland, Bianchi, Don Hume, Blackhawk Roma Gunbags and others.
Holsters, purses and fanny packs are available from the Virginia Pistol Store for popular concealed carry guns. Holster, purse and fanny pack purchases should be made PRIOR to the day of your class!
