Course Description:
This informative course is designed to introduce the young folks to the world of firearms, and their safe handling and use. Emphasis is placed on safety with actual handling of various types of firearms, as well as the proper steps to take if they find an unattended firearm. I strongly feel that early firearms education for our young folks is the key to a child being safe around firearms.
Your instructor for this course is Mr. "Buz" Grover. "Buz" is a NRA Certified pistol, rifle and shotgun instructor and also a NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, and simply loves working with the young folks!

Some of the topics covered in this informative course that will make a young person safer:
- Fundamental Rules of Firearms Safety and Handling
- What to do if you find an unattended firearm
- Basic marksmanship skills
- Various types of firearms and how they function
- Hands-on experience with different types of firearms
- Early development of safe firearms handling and marksmanship skills with real handguns in our Firearms Simulator
Course Length:
3 to 4 hours (Approximate). Actual time varies based on student Q&A, progress, and if everyone arrives on time.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be 10 to 15 minute breaks every hour.

Course Prerequisites:
Student must be at least 8 years of age, and be accompanied by one parent. Parent will be required to sign a waiver form and be present during the entire class!

If for some reason you can not attend the course you do not lose your money! I will reschedule you for another course date. All I ask is that you notify me of your inability to attend as far in advance of the course date that you can so someone else may attend.
