The guest speaker, who is a practicing Virginia attorney and second amendment advocate, provides you with valuable information on Virginia Firearms Laws and will answer any questions you may have.
Course topics include but are not limited to:
- General rights and restrictions under Virginia law permitting the carrying of concealed handguns for self defense, including where you may and may not carry.
- Virginia key legal provisions and restrictions pertaining to the use of deadly force in self defense. (What the courts are looking for in a self defense encounter)
- Home defense in a non-Castle Doctrine State (Virginia)
- Potential criminal and civil actions that may be taken subsequent to a defensive encounter, and how to protect yourself in the event it happens.
- Transportation laws
The seminar, which is approximately 3 to 4 hours in length, consists of a lecture portion during which you may ask specific questions of the guest speaker which are important to YOU, and they will be answered in accordance with current Virginia law!
